SPEAKER BIOS:

Barbara J. Yoder is the founding apostle and senior pastor of Shekinah Regional Equipping and Revival Center, a racially and culturally diverse church in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She serves on several boards of ministry nationally. Barbara leads Breakthrough Apostolic Ministries Network (BAMN) a network of pastors, ministry leaders and marketplace leaders. She travels extensively as a national and international speaker, ministering at various conferences and churches. She is the author of 5 books. She has been featured on the cover of Charisma magazine as one of the most influential women leaders in the church today.

Dr. Charles D. “Chuck” Pierce has been used by God to intercede and mobilize prayer throughout the world. He is an ordained minister and serves as President of Glory of Zion International Ministries in Denton, Texas. This ministry facilitates the vision of other apostolic ministries worldwide. Chuck is known for his accurate prophetic gifting which helps direct nations, cities, churches and individuals in understanding the times and seasons we live in. He also serves as President of Global Spheres, Inc., an apostolic ministry for apostolic, prophetic and intercessory leaders. Peter and Doris Wagner complete the leadership team of this new apostolic wineskin.

Bernardine Wormley Daniels is pastor of the Yale United Methodist Church in Yale, Michigan, founder and senior apostolic leader of Soterios Ministries, Inc., The Incense Rising School of Prayer and The Kingdom Institute.  Her primary ministry objectives include teaching, preaching, and demonstrating the Power of God; training and equipping the ‘Church’; and imparting the anointing and activating spiritual gifts in the lives of believers; She is author of several publications.

Paul Keith Davis spent twenty years in the business arena before entering full-time ministry. He and his wife Wanda founded WhiteDove Ministries after the Lord sovereignly sent a beautiful white dove to them as a prophetic sign of their calling. They have traveled extensively speaking at conferences and churches imparting the end-time mandate of preparation for the Glory and Manifest Presence of Christ. His heart’s desire is to see the full restoration of Biblical Apostolic ministry manifested through the Spirit of Truth residing in God’s people, expressing salvation, healing and deliverance to the Glory of God and His Christ.

Ray Hughes is President and Founder of Selah Ministries.  He has been in full-time ministry for over thirty years. He received his Doctorate of Divinity in 1996, and is considered one of the foremost authorities on worship and its Biblical foundations. Ray is a teacher, author, historian, musicologist, preacher, poet, storyteller, songwriter, and instrumentalist. He has devoted twenty-five years to extensive research in Biblical foundations of praise as well as to ways God has used, and continues to use, the power of sound and praise to demonstrate His love and faithfulness to His people.

Steve Swanson has traveled throughout the world leading people in worship. He has led worship in conferences with many powerful ministries of the Kingdom.  Steve carries a powerful anointing and impartation in worship, intercession, and prophecy that creates an atmosphere of breakthrough in worship that opens the heavens.  His unique gifting and passion allows worshipers to experience freedom, joy and intimacy with the Lord.  He and his wife Lisa oversee Friends of the Bridegroom Worship Ministries, a ministry dedicated to the release of His creativity in worship and the arts.

The Lansing Bless Fest is a practical event that reaches out to the Lansing Community to share hope and a little joy. The festival does this in a positive and fun way by sharing outstanding positive music, free raffles, fun for families and a message of blessing and caring. Media Messengers (non-profit, faith based ministry based in Lansing) sponsors this event along with local churches, individuals and business partners.
The Lansing Bless Fest begins Friday Aug. 26th at 5:30 pm-10 pm and continues Saturday Aug. 27th starting at12:30 pm- 10 pm. Free food will be served all day on Saturday!
Friday night features rap and hip-hop performances by local artists, as well as nationally and internationally known artists. Some of the artists lined up for Friday are: Mizz Reality, Vertical, ICRIS, and Jerome. On Saturday we have two stages featuring a variety of musical styles: contemporary, country, folk, rock, alternative, gospel and jazz.

Some of the scheduled bands are: Lansing’s own, The Brodberg Band, MSU Gospel Choir, Lansing Teen Challenge Praise Band. Also from Ypsilanti, Missionary Voices of Praise, from Detroit, rock band Looking Up and many other talented Michigan artists. All of the bands/artists represent a wide variety of music to enjoy. On the park grounds there will be a children’s area with organized games, large inflatable toys and prize giveaways for all ages.
In past years we have been able to distribute over 100 back-packs full of school supplies for children and families by our generous partners, Greater Lansing First Assembly of God. Additional partners including: Vineyard Fellowship of Meridian, Women’s Aglow Fellowship International, and Kingdom Dreams Inc. have provided tables full of rummage sale items, beauty makeovers to pamper expectant or single mothers, and a van full of brand new beautiful designer sweat suits, pants and other clothing; all given freely to those attending the festival. During the festival we hold free raffles for bicycles, gifts and toys for children and others. In past years, the Bless Fest staff has cooked and distributed thousands of free meals! We not only want to fill our neighbors heart’s with hope but also their bodies with a warm meal!
We are proud to have a prayer tent, not affiliated with any particular denomination, where anyone can come and receive prayer and encouragement from caring and trained staff. This prayer tent outreach has provided another piece of hope for a community that has suffered greatly and is in need.

Good Friday is a religious holiday usually observed by Christians. It is also called Holy Friday, Black Friday, or Great Friday. It is observed to remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, his death, and his rising from the dead. The holiday is often at the same time as the Jewish holiday of Passover.

The estimated year of Good Friday is AD 33, by two different groups, and at first as AD 34 by Isaac Newton by the differences between the Biblical and Julian calendars

the legislature to abandon a “shared pain” approach to resolving the state budget
deficit, point out the drastic cuts social service programs have already endured,
and urge elected officials to protect Michigan’s depleted social safety net as the
2009-2010 state budget is finalized.

Mass of Installation of Bishop Paul J. Bradley as Bishop of Kalamazoo LIVE webcast 1:30 p.m.

The Installation Mass is Friday, June 5th at 2 p.m., St. Augustine Cathedral with Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron presiding. Seating is by reservation only and tickets are required for entry. Overflow seating is available in the Crowley Cathedral Center located on the grounds of St. Augustine at the corner of Michigan and Westnedge Avenues. Overflow seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The webcast will begin with the procession into the church around 1:50 p.m.
